  1. Ryde Pier is not the longest pier in the UK as stated in the Isle of Wight quiz but maybe the oldest seaside pleasure pier.

  2. “The Isle of Wight is diamond-shaped and extends 22.5 miles (36 km) from east to west and 13.5 miles (22 km) from north to south”. – Encyclopaedia Britannica.
    Don’t drive 26 miles across. You will be right off a cliff before you ever get to drown
