I’ve been researching the best New Forest glamping spots.

The great thing about glamping in the New Forest, rather than camping, is that you’ll have access to a decent bathroom and kitchen facilities, to yourself.

Amazingly there aren’t that many New Forest glamping spots to enjoy, which is why I’ve decided to include some New Forest huts too. If you’re looking for somewhere unique to stay in the New Forest, then these glamping spots are well worth a stay.

1. Cosy Cabin, Ringwood, New Forest

How about a cosy cabin on the edge of the New Forest this autumn? Can you picture you and your loved one toasting by that fire after a country walk / bike ride / horse ride?

This handcrafted log cabin is rustic and authentic, with an amazing veranda for relaxing. You’ll have a living room, kitchen area, bathroom and a garden too. The perfect size for the two of you to go glamping in the New Forest.

3. Lightfoot’s Farm Furnished Bell Tent, with HOT TUB!

Get the whole field to yourself by booking this awesome bell tent in the New Forest. Three acres all to yourself! Featuring authentic rugs from Kurdistan, and chests from Afghanistan, it could be the closest you’ll get to going abroad this year.

You’ll have access to a basic kitchen, and can light a fire in a pit too, for those marshmallows. There’s a pub nearby, and a small woodland too.

4. Rustic & cosy retreat 5 mins from the sea

Ok, this rustic and cosy retreat would be my number one choice from this list for glamping in the New Forest. It’s sooooo nice inside. And so cosy for autumn. Have you ever been to Milford on Sea? It’s a stunning spot on the coast of the New Forest, and I LOVE it there. This rustic and cost retreat is just five minutes from the sea and you’ll love it. It’s an absolutely stunning getaway for two people to enjoy the south coast of England, and the New Forest all in one.  This quirky home is secluded and private and down a quiet country lane. You can make the most of the outdoors area, with a BBQ and fire pit too. Just a ten-minute walk away you’ll find the delights of Milford village, and all around you’ll find great walks to enjoy this stunning part of England.

5. New Forest hut

If you want your New Forest glamping experience to be in the centre of a village, then this hut in Brockenhurst is a great idea. Brockenhurst is a great little village, and near a train station too, so a great choice if you don’t have your own wheels. 

Stay here and there are loads of walking and cycling trails around, and there’s a sauna and a hot tub on site too. You’re free to use the garden if you need. Also, there’s wood and charcoal for the BBQ.

6. Shepherd’s Hut New Forest-Pet Friendly

This shepherds hut is a GREAT choice for social distancing and general seclusion. You’ll be surrounded by the grounds of a thatched cottage in the New Forest, complete with roaming ponies and deers. You’re 5 miles from Lymington – one of the top New Forest villages.

Book this shepherd’s hut and you’ll have an ensuite shower, toilet, basin and a kitchenette too. You’ll also get a great breakfast, all from the local shop, with local produce. All well washed down with the free bottle of Prosecco you get with every booking. You can enjoy a double comfy bed and an electric wood burning stove too. With no light pollution this is a great spot for admiring the stars and to make this a truly romantic break glamping in the New Forest. Great pub within walking distance too!
