Hyde Park Winter Wonderland 2025: Why You Need to Go This Year

London’s most magical festive event is back – bigger, brighter, and bolder than ever. Hyde Park Winter Wonderland returns from 14th November 2025 to 1st January 2026, and this year promises an avalanche of festive fun with more than 150 rides, shows and attractions.

Exploring Winter Wonderland

If you love twinkly lights, mulled wine, ice sculptures and Santa sightings (and who doesn’t?), this is your ultimate Christmas day out in London.

What’s New for 2025?

Winter Wonderland has pulled out all the stops this year with brand-new experiences:

🎅 Santa Land Upgrade – The little ones are in for a treat. Santa’s Grotto, London’s largest free grotto, has had a festive makeover. Expect an interactive Elves Workshop, special visits from Mrs. Claus, and even the Jingle Bell Bistro – the world’s first street food market designed just for kids. Mini hotdogs? Gingerbread milkshakes? Yes, please.

Luminarie Lane – A jaw-dropping Italian-built light installation, perfect for those all-important festive photos. Wander beneath glowing arches, pick up handcrafted gifts, and nibble your way through seasonal street food.

❄️ Magical Ice Kingdom: A Mystical, Mythical Fantasy World – Step into one of Europe’s biggest ice attractions. Kept at -10°C, this year’s theme takes you through the Four Realms of Earth, Fire, Air and Water, sculpted from 500 tonnes of ice and snow. Expect trolls, a 5-metre Griffin, and plenty of “I need a selfie here” moments.

🍻 Après-Ski Village – No Alps? No problem. There’s a brand-new Bavarian-inspired après scene with live DJs, bratwurst, mulled wine and a buzzing party atmosphere. (Pro tip: warm up at Bar Ice, where even your cocktail glass is carved from ice.)

Returning Favourites

Some things are just too good not to bring back:

The UK’s largest outdoor ice rink under a canopy of twinkly lights.
🎡 The Giant Wheel for panoramic views across London.
🛷 The Real Ice Slide – squeals of joy guaranteed.
🎪 Zippos Christmas Circus for family fun, and Cirque Berserk: Ignite for daredevil thrills.

And don’t forget the Bavarian Village – live music, beer steins, and hearty German food.
